In life - You win some, you learn some, you grow some, but you do not lose some
Life is interesting, just when we think everything feels right and is going in the right direction, everything we link our happiness to - is completely flipped upside down. We are pushed outside of our comfort zone and I am not sure about you but these moments of change, uncertainty can be scary. Whether it is work, relationships, or just life in general, it is constantly changing and evolving. I feel I am on a roller coaster and just when I hit the top it takes an unexpected turn or drop.
When things are not going the way we planned, it is easy to get negative and fearful of what the future brings. I sometimes catch myself thinking: Am I making the right decision? Am I wrong or right? I start putting the blame on others for my fear and uncertainties. My ego starts the story of, “it’s me against the world.”
The term "you win some and you lose some," is a common phrase we have heard all of our lives, but the thing is there is no losing in life; there is growing, learning and evolving. Life is not out to get us, it is working for our greater good. Which can mean challenges that may push us outside of our comfort zones, but again we are not losing. We should take these opportunities to look deep within ourselves, to grow and transform.
The way we need to rethink life is - “You win some, you learn some, you grow some – but you do not lose some."
Reflecting on life, I have realized that the moments of complete transition are where the growth happens. Change is not something that we should fear; rather, it is something that we should welcome.
For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they're meant to be.
I would love to hear how you have learned and grown from life experiences that may have not went the way you planned. Your comment may be exactly what another beautiful soul needs to hear at this time in their lives. So share your love and light so we can continue to change this world one day at a time.
With Love,
Morgan
