Compare and Despair

Compare and Despair...

I’ve had a lot of conversations lately on how easy it is to compare ourselves to others, especially on social media.. Man can I relate to this one.

I know when I have boundaries and take breaks with social media my life feels A LOT better, AND I love being on social media because it is where I get to connect and serve my community, which is extremely important to me.

So what I get to look at is; How can I work with this inner critic? The compare and despair? Show up on social and still support myself?

Something I found to be really helpful is to reach out to the woman I am comparing and connect. 99.9% of the time when I connect with them, I see that the story I have created about them or their life is not true!!

I am reminded they are human too, going through human experiences just like me. The up’s and downs in life.

So I encourage you, if there's a woman you have a story running about them or their life, reach out.

In the end, we are all just seeking real honest connection. That we are not alone.
