A Note on Decision Making
I work with women all over the world
One thing that we dive into is making decisions - whether that is big decisions like changing jobs, starting a business, moving to a new city, ending a relationship -
Or day to day decisions like; do I sleep in or workout, do I listen to my body and stay home or go to dinner with friends I’ve committed to, do I work another 2 hours or give myself a break.
Any of these resonate?
Two of the biggest things I see come up with decision making, especially with women is:
We don’t trust ourselves
And we don’t feel worthy we can have it
We have become a society that focuses so much on looking to the outside world for answers and approval…social media, comparing - we also move so quickly, so it is rare to really slow down enough to check in what is it we want/need.
Once we know what we want we often feel like it is too much to have - not worthy, want to please others, can’t focus on YOU
