Wisdom and Reflection
This week can always feel a bit ungrounded for me (especially right now).. Anyone else relate?
Coming down from the celebrations of the Holidays, not yet the New Year.. I used to almost wish this week away, just wanting to get to the New Year. That New Year high of starting something fresh, new dreams, new goals.
Over the last few years, I have actually learned to love this time. I now look forward to slowing down, grounding and reflecting on the past year.
One of my coaches said this to me last week and it stuck with me, “We get so much of our wisdom from reflection.”
I was like YES!!! That’s it. That is what I feel after I give myself time to look back; This deep inner WISDOM!!
I feel lighter and more at peace
I let go of the things no longer serving me, to make room for new
I am WAY more intentional with my time each day
I have more clarity and confidence on what I want in my life going forward
I always walk away with AHA moments and learn a lot about myself!!!
