Slow Down and Take a Few Deep Breaths
It was such an honor to share about meditation & spirituality on the Austrian TV show we got to be part of ๐๐ป๐ซ
Being I share in German I thought I would translate some of the daily practices I share about on the show. These are the things I do daily that can completely change my entire day.
๐ซ Put my hand on my heart and breathe. I even will look down at my feet and remember to come back to the present. โBe where my feet are.โ Especially when I am worrying about what will happen ahead.
๐ซ Write down all the things that I am worrying about and put them in my โUniverse box.โ The physical act of letting go of these things, even for just a moment, brings relief.
๐ซ Take a piece of paper and draw a line through the center - On one side I write โwhat's in my controlโ on the other side โwhat's out of my control.โ I then write down everything I can control and everything I canโt. I often laugh because most of the things I am worrying about I canโt even control or change! Just that perspective feels like a weight lifted.
